Production company Shogakukan-Shueisha Productions opened an official website for the television anime adaptation of Onigunsou‘s Mononogatari (Malevolent Spirits: Mononogatari) manga on Wednesday and revealed the main staff, cast, teaser visual (pictured), and a teaser promotional video.
Takeo Ootsuka (Otome Game Sekai wa Mob ni Kibishii Sekai desu) and Yuuki Takada (Sekai Saikou no Ansatsusha, Isekai Kizoku ni Tensei suru) are starring as Hyouma Kunato and Botan Nagatsuki, respectively.

Onigunsou began the supernatural fantasy manga in Miracle Jump in April 2014 before switching to Ultra Jump in January 2016. Shueisha published the 13th volume on November 19. Shueisha’s Shounen Jump+ web magazine also serializes the manga.
Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga in English on April 27 and is scheduled to release the first volume in January 2023.
