Puzzle & Dragons' latest collaboration is with the Japanese light novel Monogatari Series

A couple of weeks ago, Puzzle & Dragons was transformed into a Mad Max-ish world due to the crossover with the popular anime The Fist of the North Star. This time around, GungHo’s match-3 is being attacked by supernatural forces as another collaboration begins. Until August 14th, Puzzle & Dragons players will be able to enjoy an event with the Monogatari Series, a Japanese novel full of vampires, spectres, and beasts.

The Puzzle & Dragons x Monogatari Series collaboration event will feature lots of popular characters from the show as they take on evil demons while also making buddies along the way. Players will be able to explore Koyomi Araragi’s story, a third-year high schooler who is trying to overcome his curse and restoring humanity with friends on his side. Like other crossovers, everyone will get a free pull from the Monogatari Series Memorial Egg Machine, where they will find other characters like Hitagi Senjyogahara and Ougi Oshino.

In the Monogatari Series dungeons, players will fight ghosts to win exclusive rewards like the Monogatari Series Collab Medal – Gold and more. The Challenge dungeon makes things harder but also allows players to pull the Egg Machine for unmissable prizes. The Monster Exchange will feature Koyomi Araragi Apparition Killer, and Kiss-shot as well.

Fasttracking through the collab will require some help from your wallet. There are four bundles to help hasten your progress:

  • $0.99 – One Magic Stone and a pull from the Monogatari Series Egg Machine
  • $19.99 – 20 Magic Stones and a pull from the seven-star Monogatari Series Egg Machine
  • $19.99 – 20 Magic Stones and a pull from the Tsubasa Hanekawa Egg Machine
  • $19.99 – 20 Magic Stones and a pull from the Sodachi Oikura Egg Machine
