Hope for the best but prepare for the worst, that was the lesson that episode 6 of Spy X Family taught us.
Phase 2 of the Strix Operation has finally begun as the Forgers set off to attend the orientation for the students and parents at Eden College.
Things don’t go as planned when Anya not only manages to punch the very son of the man Loid is supposed to make contact with but also gets herself a shining Tonitrus Bolt for that.
With the fate of the operation hanging by a thread held by none other than Anya, the future looks hilariously grim for Loid and his mission.
Episode 7 Speculations
Anya has already caused major disruptions to every plan that Loid had to complete the mission, but there might just be a way to salvage it out of this comedic mess.
The next episode, titled, “The Target’s Second Son”, could have us go through Anya’s efforts to mend the dangerously screwed-up first impression that Damian now has of her.
In this pursuit, she will be aided by the illustrious Loid or Twilight, the master spy.

Episode 6 Recap
The episode begins with the Forgers at the tailor getting Anya’s uniform for her new life at school. Anya is elated but her excitement is dampened as the tailor starts telling them about the issues at the academy.
A scared Anya is taken to a fancy restaurant where Loid receives an encrypted message to attend a briefing five days later.
The day arrives and surprisingly, the tailor calls the same day telling them that Anya’s school dress is ready. Loid heads off to the briefing while Yor takes Anya to the tailor.
Loid reaches his secret location where he is met with the extremely alluring handler who is furious at his frivolous expenditures but doesn’t really do much about it apart from briefing him about the second phase of the operation which would again hinge entirely on Anya.
On the other hand, Yor takes Anya to a park after getting her school uniform. Anya is extremely excited about showing it off to everybody. That excitement garners the attention of some unsavory people who attempt to kidnap her while Yor is busy purchasing ingredients for their dinner.
This transgression of theirs incurs the full wrath of the assassin that is Yor but she stops herself from doing any permanent damage, only doing enough to have them flee. Impressed with her skills, Anya asks Yor to train her as she wants to survive school.
The next day is the day of the orientation, after a long speech by one of the masters at the school, the children are divided into their respective classes and are taken on a tour of the campus.
Anya takes this lovely opportunity to try and make friends with Damian Donovan but manages to gloriously mess it up. Her response to his bullying turns out to be the famous smirk which only triggers him further but greatly impresses Becky who finds it mature.
Damian keeps bullying throughout the tour until Anya snaps and dishes out a devastating punch to the unsuspecting boy and sends him flying thus committing an act that would normally lead to three Tonitrus Bolts.
Master Henderson, her teacher quickly arrives at the situation where Anya lies that she only punched him because he stepped on her newfound friend Becky’s foot. The elegance of her answer leaves him speechless thus lessening her punishment to only one bolt.
When this news is relayed to Loid, he is not just shocked by absolutely shook as Anya had just managed to pretty much doom both of his plans in one fell swoop.
The episode ends with a picture of all the students along with their parents being taken by the school with the Forgers at the bottom left looking devastated, shaken, and quite literally overwhelmed.
Maybe all of this mess has a silver lining but I doubt Loid will be seeing that anytime soon.
